A Wish For You

Dear Colleagues and Parents,

As many of us start a school year in a way we never dreamed would happen I would like to take a few moments to send my wishes to you for the school year.

To my colleagues,

I wish you an incredible tech department that is able to help you with all of your technology needs. If you are not a tech person may you find the right YouTube videos that show you step by step what you need to do to accomplish your task.

I wish you patience. Patience for yourself, your colleagues, your students and their families. No one wanted it this way and we are all doing the best we can with what we’ve got.

I wish you relationships. I hope you are able to build solid relationships with your new students and their families.

I wish you perspective. Perspective of your students and the situations they are in and how you can help them succeed.

To my parents,

I wish you patience. Patience for your children, your other family members, your children’s teachers and the school. While this is not an ideal situation your teachers are doing the best they can and your children are too.

I wish you to gain understanding of some of the challenges faced in a day by teachers when kids are actually in buildings.

I wish you children who are responsible and get their work done without you having to nag them endlessly.

I wish you a home filled with love and respect.
